Density cyle on my pull-up Traiing is moving along slow but moving.
Got two days in this week with 25 sets of 4 reps in 25 minutes. THe hard part about this is the mental weight of 25 sets. Yeah it's only 4 pullups I'm doing in a minute and the rest of the minute is taken up with stretching but just doing this for 25 times can weigh on the mind. The first 2-3 sets, you just go all out with effort. You try to focus on technique and you tell yourself this is too easy. Usually about sets 12-15 you start to slack off as you start get get fatigued. To get over that hump, back off on the effort and really pay attention to your form and technique. Then about those last few sets you fell yourself shift into anouther gear so you can finish out on a high note.
Give up trying to run in my Vibram Five Finger Shoes and moving back to my regular shoes. I think it's a combination of too much too soon on my ankle. It just needs some moe time to adjust to "barefoot" Running. I need to focus on my 2.5 walk for my APFT in May anyhow. Shooting for under 30 minutes. Then I'll start my running training again.
Training is the same as last PT test, Reverse Elipticals from "Forward Pressure" DVD and Spinal rocks with the Medicine Ball All dome with the Tabata Protocal. 20sec work/10 sec rest for 8 rounds.
Alternate Days with Flow Fit and Clubbell Training. "Rest" on Weekends.
